Mobile Flirting (Part 1)


Nowadays, Getting her(his) mobile number is the start of new relationship.
In this movie, the guy just asks her go out for watching movie. She accepted and propose to exchange mobile numbers.

Instead of saying her number or giving a note, she gives her mobile to him and let him input his number and she makes a call to his mobile phone. Now they have connection. (Don't forget to ask name!)
It is typical ritual of modern ritual for mating of Homomobilikus.

Do you have any good tip for it?

Following is a tip from a guy.
Scenario A: Single guy named Tom find a perfect girl Nancy. What is next move?

  1. Ask her to lend her mobile. You have to tell you have some emergency issue but have no mobile phone now. (The beautiful girl must be nice as well)
  2. Make a call to yourself (Don't forget to set your mobile in silent mode) and disguise a conversation. You have to expose your profile little bit such as name, job or whatever your hidden advantage.
  3. Say thank you and good bye.
  4. Some time later, you have to call her and say "Thank you". Of course, you have to propose now.
  5. Don't forget to confess about all your performance later but not that soon.

Does it seem cheesy? All romance is cheesy indeed. Of course, you have to revise this idea for your own tactical situation.

Its a good idea^^

However, many countries are not like Korea. In the US, for example, it is not normal to ask if you can use someone's mobile. In fact, many people use their mobile to avoid interaction with others. This makes getting the mobile number more difficult.

Only once a relationship has been established can you confidently ask for a number. My phone I used in Korea has many numbers from people I didn't know very well.

What does that say about how starting relationships is different in these two countries?

Thanks for great feedback. Yes it will be different in other culture. Actually part 2 is about another mobile flirting method in other culture. Method of expellant is also my consideration. Please feel free let me know your thought.

Digitalized old tool

Probably, we all at least once play a doctor with a Stethoscope. But not many using one in daily work life. It is old tool but relatively new tool. The stethoscope was invented in France in 1816 by René Laennec. In 60ies, David Liitman, a M.D., reinvent it which is reputed for its acoustic performances in auscultation. Later 3M acquired the company but still the brand name is 3M-Littmann stethoscope. It is still a perfect gift for graduating M.D. students.     3M-Littmann Stethoscope. It is really annoying to see a bad design claims good design. Recently, I was able to see some interesting examples of pedestrian crosswalk designs with using LED lightings to make crosswalks bright at night. http://www.etnews.com/201002090064 In Germany, city installs traffic lights in pavements to protect smart phone users who doesn't look around before crossing. Another design project placed a bright LED doors on both sides of the crosswalk. I believe these design can be stupid solution. Because there is a high risk of not being able to see the pedestrians by drivers. Vice versa there is a risk that pedestrians will not be able to see the approaching cars.
